This place was a real treat. We had a riverview deluxe room which was large and airy, with a nice view of the river (though the balcony lacked privacy). Our twin beds were a good size and had mosquito netting (nice but unnecessary). The aircon worked well, there was a minibar and TV with good channel choice. Bathroom was clean, though fixtures beginning to age.
Staff offered a free turn-down service and left bedtime stories, which was a nice touch.
Laundry costs were ridiculously high.
The resort offered 2 pools, a private beach, restaurant, very nice breakfast inclusive, free internet terminals, a pool table and a range of activities for a fee. It is out of town, but that is necessary to have the fantastic position is does between river and beach, and the free shuttle bus to town is very reliable. It is far from isolated, with a range of shops and restaurants just opposite.
