In a word, excellent. We were amazed at...
In a word, excellent. We were amazed at the genuine, friendly and cheerful service - the staff in all areas were brilliant, and had good English. Breakfasts were the usual good hotel deal, but the restaurant lunch / evening menu meals were sensational, outstanding, and moderately priced. Great pool. Clean, spacious room (suite) with a good bed. Right on the beach. A free bus shuttle to the town 5 kilometers away. (Or Taxi, only $3 USD). On the down side, bit expensive, we ordered a Sea View room and were given a River View room with a poor excuse, (room was fine), English TV channels did not work, limited tour options, and jet ski hire too dear to use. But, I would certianly recommend staying here. As usual in Vietnam, everyone is very interested in how long you are staying, and want to organise something expensive for you.

Close to the beach, our room looked...
Close to the beach, our room looked over the river and was large and quiet. The second pool, dining room, reception area was being renovated which was a shame as it would have been great to have access to the pool close to our room however our kids spent a great deal of time in the other one. Internet access very good as was having the beach loungers assigned to the hotel on the beach. Definitely stay in this hotel again.

We stayed in the Villa room next...
We stayed in the Villa room next to the river, to me they are the best as they are away from the road and the beach view rooms don't really get a view and are next to the road. The pools are good,the rooms are huge, staff are great. Of the four resorts along the beach it is the cheapest and probably the best positioned as you have the shops outside the side gate. Across the road about 100 metres to the north there are about 10 cafes right on the beach. They are good cheap seafood cafes.(no 5 was our favorite) The other beach resorts have superior pool settings right on the beach, but everywhere you go has to be by transport as they have no cafes nearby. Breakfast was OK but not startling. Hoi An is a forty thousand dong trip and getting taxis is not a problem.

What else can one say about Hoi...
What else can one say about Hoi An Beach Resort but that is is an excellent place to stay. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. After our first night in riverside deluxe room with an air conditioner which did no work adequately we asked if it could be fixed. No problem, but when it was unable to fixed they (without us asking) gave us an upgrade to a riverside villa. Both rooms were large with balconies, with chairs, and had lovely views of the river. We only ate in the restuarant one night, Food was okay but rather expensive for a buffet if you are only a small eater. The beach was clean and having their own beach area is a bonus. The pool areas were good also. Internet was free for 30 minutes at a time which is adequate. We would definitely recommend this resort to friends.

Great location whilst out of town its...
Great location whilst out of town its situation the river on one side and the beach on the other is ideal. Very relaxing and peaceful, service and staff excellent.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hoi An Beach Resort. We got the room with the River View - relaxing! The whole resort is nicely manicured and the pool is perfect. The rooms were not as nice as they could be, but ok enough. The service of the staff was excellent. The nearby beach was a plus. I truly recommend booking with Asia Rooms and staying at this hotel if you want some peace and quiet!

We were initially very happy over the...
We were initially very happy over the fact that our room was upgraded to Sea View Room. The Bathroom was very clean and comfort, with the bathtub and the shower zone being separated. We can also get into the our bathroom by the direct door from the outside too. The room was far bigger than what we had expected. It also has a balcony which was large enough to faciitate a dinner. The included breakfast as well as the services were also excellent. The location of this resort is right behind the beach which locates 5 kms from the city. But that is not a problem at all for the hotel provides free shuttle bus to and from the city several times a day. Taxi service is also available 24/7 for a fee like 3usd per one-way. You can also rent a motorbike for like 5-6usd a day to take a ride around too. There is also a free internet service at the lobby. If you are looking for a place to spend your total weekend, this is the one.
