great location and services
this one was a little more expensive than others available in Hoi An so when we arrived to a room overlooking the septic trteatment with smell to boot, cockroaches mozzies and flies already in the room i was a bit concerned, after a word with the manager we were given ocean view rooms and free dinner the room was bug free and much more to my liking.
breakfast wasn't brilliant but found pleanty to have. great pools and staff
location is awesome right outside is shops, atm, taxis & private beach
only 5 mins to Hoi An centre 4 bucks by taxi.

We had a lovely stay at Hoi An Beach Resort. An excellent location away from town but only a 5 min drive to all the sights. Beautiful beach across the road. Our room had a river view which was gorgeous!

Lovely Resort
Travelling through Vietnam within a limited time period, a respite at the Hoi An Beach Resort proved to be a well-needed restful interlude. The rooms are lovely - well-equipped, spacious and bright, especially those backing onto the river. The resort is about a ten minute ride outside of Hoi An and courtesy buses are laid on at intervals throughout the day. It would be better if these ran more frequently and avoided the break in the middle of the day and ran the buses later into the evening. Also there are not enough computers available. Other hotels have computers in every room. The Hoi An Beach Resort has around five in the main reception and these were often monopolised by young people. Also some of the staff on the main reception were unwelcoming. Despite these adverse comments, I would recommend this resort as on the whole this is a lovely resort, well positioned between the river and the beach and a welcome break from the frenzy of travelling through Vietnam.

Nice place
Hoi An Beach resort is a good quality hotel with pleasant rooms and good service and is situated to make the most of a relaxing holiday in an interesting town. It is a 15 minute taxi ride from the centre of Hoi An, on both the beach and river.

nice hotel good location,friendly helpful staff,easy to hire mbike to get to old town and markets. pools very cold and small. restaurant good, bfast very good selection.weather bad when we there so didn't make it to beach across the road.

disappointing
On arrival i was given a room that was right near the road and very noisy. After the first night i was up graded but had to pay for the new room (extra 15us a night). Due to recent storms there was no access to the beach and there was sand and debris throughout the resort. Although the resort staff were friendly the food in the restaurant was terrible. As the resort is out of town there were not many other options for eating nearby. I imagine in the summer time the resort may have been a different place but our experience was not great. The spa on site was good but over priced for the area. (equivillent to prices back home)

You should not need an umbrella when you already checked out...
Stay was ok, but not to good. The more expensive rooms are much nicer. We had to change our Room twice for just 3 nights. The first one had a horrible smell, the second one two beds (it was our honeymoon) and the third one was really nice.
After our check-out we went to downtown and still need two umbrellas. It was a real big problem to get those...

A very restful stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Hoi An Beach Resort. We loved the peaceful setting (we had a room with River views) and the overall ambience of the resort. The special attention that the staff provided at all times was lovely and much appreciated, especially the waiting staff in the restaurant who were always friendly and courteous. The resort is 5klms out of the township so you'll rely on the courtesy shuttle bus provided by the hotel or you could do as we did - hire a scooter and have the freedom to go where and when you want. We would definately stay at the Hoi An again (tho perhaps not during the school holidays as this resort is very family friendly and there were a lot of kids around).

Great Location
Excellent resort good location between river and sea. Get a river view deluxe room on top floor for best views.
