Excellent! Near the old town and near...
Excellent! Near the old town and near the beach, the shuttle bus takes you every were! The hotel staff was great, always with a smile in their face. The girls took care of the kids while we were enjoying meals and the breakfast was simple but delicious. We were in the old town when started raining and I had leave clothes in the balcony room. When I arrived the clothes were in the bathroom! They solve the problems before even you think on them!

The service at the hotel is excellent....
The service at the hotel is excellent. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and always keen to help us when we have problems. The view from our room facing the river and padifield is beautiful too. The breakfast spread is average and can be improved. Overall, a great experience staying at the hotel and I would like to come back again to show my support!

The hotel and it's facilities were brillinat, as long as you are happy to just stay within the resort or pay taxi/motorbike fees to get anywhere, as it is situated too far from either the centre of town or the beach. Also, EVERYTHING in the resort is well and trully overpriced. Whilst we understand that resorts do tend to add alittle bit on top for their cut, the whole point of a trip to Vietnam is for a cheap holiday and that is not what you will get staying there. If, however, you don't mind how much you spend and want to stay in a gorgeous riverside setting with everything at yourfigertips within the resort then we would highly recommend it.

This is a awesome place for a...
This is a awesome place for a replenishing, relaxing getaway. The view of the very calm river from the balcony is very lovely and soothing. Except my room was a little close to the farmers opp the river for comfort to leave the curtains open for full view. I love how the room is cleaned everytime we leave and come back (wonder how they keep tab on our movements.. security is good then!) and its like at 2 times a day! Only the swimming pool is a little small and there's no bathtub in the toilet. Else, it's been a perfect wonderful stay to end our trip in vietnam. Food is very nice but expensive. Recommends the restaurant a short walk away, its on stilts but serves very nice viet dishes at a very affordable price and enjoys same nice river view.

The hotel is nicely situated on a quaint little river and facing a picturesque rice field. Very nice resort feel. However the rooms were a major dissappointment. The seemed very 3 star, where as the rest of the hotel was more like 4-5 star quality. If the management invests in the rooms more, it would be a great place to stay. Also there should be more frequent shuttles to and from town.

A resort with shimmer and shadow. On the positive account were: location (the resort is located at a bend of the river which offers wonderful views), spacious rooms (though furnitures and equipment are more three-star-standard than four star), a nice and comparable large pool, free shuttle service to the beach and to Hoi An. And this is what we did not like: food in the restaurant was overpriced and of poor quality, drinks were just lousy, the overall price level was way too high (the resort charged more for food/drinks/minibar/laundry than the Sofitel Metropol in Hanoi!!). We also found the resort too narrow - too many houses on a rather small property with little room to sit and relax. Our overall judgement is: the place is okay, but nothing to be remembered.

What a delight. The Riverside Resort was...
What a delight. The Riverside Resort was a little haven in Hoi An beautifully set on the river. The staff were friendly and accomodating, the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of Asian and European. The cocktail on arrival made us feel very special. Internet access was available and also had USB capabilities for the camera. The massage and spa facilities are excellent and reasonably priced. I would recommended to friends and stay there again in a heartbeat!

Clean hotel, friendly staff and great setting...
Clean hotel, friendly staff and great setting next to the river. Worth the extra for the river view room. Location just out of town but shuttle bus works well and plenty of reasonably priced taxis if you are on a different schedule. Bar and restaurant look out over the river and plenty of other great eating options nearby or a five minute ride away into town.
