Would not recommend it
Hoi Anh centre is approx. 20 mins by foot from the hotel, but easily accessible with bikes you can rent for 1 USD per day. The first room we were given was basic and had a grubby feel to it. The bathroom was stained and the overall appearance was more in the lines of a backpackers hostel room. Instead of checking out we asked for a better room and ended up paying 40USD instead of 28 USD per night. It was worth it, however we felt tricked into this decision. We also noticed that the staff was always eager to promote tours through their agencies and we were offered to do a private tour to My Son for about 45 USD, when the usual bus tour is about 9 USD per person. I would not recommend the hotel if you are looking for a romantic get away. However, the dorm rooms are probably fine. We believe you can get a better deal for 40USD per night in Hoi Anh.

Fantastic stay
The rooms are nice and clean, the hotel has a pool and breakfast is quite nice, very friendly staff. We was happy with the hotel, especially as we got a good rate. Have no complaints about our stay at all.

Creative, noisy, rundown - avoid if you can!
I would definitely not recommend this hotel.very creative photography has been used on the website, so much so, that when the taxi pulled up out the front i was convinced we were at the wrong place! This place is in need of a major overhaul, our room was located near the stairwell and overlooked the pool making it very noisy - especially at 3am with drunken guests running amuk !! We also arrived back from an outing to find a maintainence man in our room stating some hot water problem?? (not known to us) we found this a little disturbing and made us feel somewhat uncomfortable and a little violated! There r plenty of nice places to stay in Hoi An, this definitely is not one of them.

Our friends a Greenfield
We returned to Greenfield after a year and were welcomed and remembered by two staff. The staff went out of their way to make our stay a good one. For the price, we couldn't ask more.

Will come back
Excellent hotel in Hoi An wih a range of rooms types for different prices. Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. There is a nice swimming pool. The food at the restaurant was absolutely excellent, everything from baguettes to coffee to hard-boiled eggs (only ate there for breakfast. Rooms are very clean. Location is about 5-10 mins walk from centre of Hoi An and about 2.5 km to beach which is an easy cycle ride away. Would recommend a stay here!

The hotel that is pictured is not...
The hotel that is pictured is not where you stay...not a fountain to be seen any where. We woke up after our first night to discover dog excrement in the carpeted corridor outside our room. Told hotel staff & was told it would be cleaned up, no appology was given. I found a camera & handed it in but the following day there was a notice by the pc's stating someone had lost a camera. The lady who owned the cmaera had spoke to the reception staff & had been told that they had seen someone with it & described me but they claimed it had not been handed in. It was not until I spoke very frimly towards them that they found the camera. Also met people who had had laundry done but was given back the wrong clothes.

The hotel is far from Hoi Ann...
The hotel is far from Hoi Ann town, about 15 to 30 minutes walk. Although the hotel is clean, it is old and dated. There are much better and cheaper hotels which are just a short walk to Hoi Ann town. This was actually my greatest disappointment in my visit to Hoi-Ann. I found out that I could have gotten a nicer hotel at a lower rate.

loved this hotel,loved helpful and friendly staff, especially Lily and happy Nicky 4 of us travelled together and we all loved it,thanks Greenfields for making us so welcome, we met a couple in Hanoi who were looking for accomodation and did not hesitate to reccomend you.
