Our room is located away from the main street and on 3rd floor (Note: there is no elevator in this hotel), hence we can enjoy its peacefulness and great view of the paddy fields. The shuttle service to town is frequent although cab ride is relatively alright for about 33,000 dong from town. The bicycle is free for hotel guest and the ride to the beach is ready worthwhile with the easy traffic and stunning view of the river when crossing the bridges. Do bring lots of sunscreen and umbrella as Jul and Aug are supposedly their hottest months.

Good value for Junior suite which included two rooms, two bathrooms and balcony. Clean but a bit bare. Swimming pool excellent. Food uninspiring. Busy with tour groups. Free shuttle minibus to town and beach. Very good value overall but recommend eating evening meal in town

We enjoyed our stay, the room was good and breakfast excellent. We had requested to be met at the airport, but no one turned up for us. As we had been staying nearby and were returning a week later we called personally to ask for the airport pick up service, it looks as if it was a language problem as the level of English at reception is poor.The location is very good, inbetween the beach and the Old town, both easily accessible on push bikes,provided by the hotel. The WIFI connection was unobtainable which was annoying, but there are 2 computers available at the bar.Local restaurants within easy walking distance have great food at really good prices and the locals are very friendly.

Very nice hotel, in my opinion one of the best deals in hoi an. Only the service is quite bad. Breakfast would be good, if they had replaced the buffet constantly. So there were some things missing.

reception staff - lovely very friendly and very welcoming. bus service into the town was excellent. at the rear of the hotel is a small farm however, every morning at a godly hour hr you will either hear the hens dogs or the family chatting!! nothing to do with the hotel but exptect to be woken up early if you are at the block at the rear of the complex!! exlcuding the noise, the hotel is great - breakfast lovely, pool lovely, rooms excellent. Gym is not quite a gym though!!!

We had a weeks stay at the Hoi An Trails after spending one week in a 5 star in Saigon. The Trails is very clean and elegantly designed. We paid for a junior suite (if you want one of these bok it online in advance - it is much cheaper than upgrading once you arrive). The suite was lovely - especially the two bathrooms and the huge balcony . Ours was in the main building which was convenient for breakfast etc but noisy as we were directly below the conference room and above the foyer - the soundproofing in this hotel is not good! The location is good being between the town and beach and the shuttle bus useful though taxis are so cheap that if the shuttle timtetable does not suit you have an easy alternative. My only issue with this hotel is that it has only one retaurant (albeit with an excellent extenisve menu) and not much in the way of facilties beyond onelounge/cum bar. Little things made me wonder about its 4 star rating - a phone in the bathroon is no doubt useful to some but personally I find an adjustable showerhead more beneficial and why is only one bathroom stocked with toiletries? Also as we were there in low season, the pool bar was not open. What is outstanding about this hotel though are the staff for whom nothing is too much trouble and all delivered with a smile. We used the hotels trip service -also very good (but be aware you literally get a car and driver - if you want a guide you have to ask and pay for one) and the swimming pool is a dream. Free internet access in the lounge was also a real plus! Overall I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to most though I think if it was ever full that might might start to stretch some of the facilities and resources.
