Good hotel, friendly & helpful staff
I stayed here for two nights & the hotel has good rooms at a good price.
the food in the restrauntwas very good & the hotel is not fare to the main area.

We stayed at the Gold Hotel from...
We stayed at the Gold Hotel from June 15 to June 20, 2010. The hotel is centrally located, and customer service was great. The breakfast buffet didn't meet my standards, so it just ok. No airconditioning in the building outside of the room. We found it very easy to set up travel tours from the hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

We only stayed at this hotel for...
We only stayed at this hotel for one night in transit but everthing was good about the hotel - bit of noise from the street but that was becuase we had a view. Excellent service - we caught the early train to Hanoi and the hotel attendant packed our breakfast for us - a real nice touch.

Staff are frienly and helpful and the hotel was clean, overall room was reasonable. The water pressure was however poor and the bathroom facilities quiet old, which made having a good shower difficult. WiFi was also difficult to use, as the signal was poor in the rooms. I ended up going to another location to get a good connection. Hotel is in a reasonable location, but not right in the action. Allow yourself a 5 to 7 minute walk to the main restruant strip.

A clean room and wonderful staff were...
A clean room and wonderful staff were the highlight of this hotel. The staff spoke very good English and always had a big smile and a hello for us. They were very helpful . They helped us find our way around, and booked a tour for us, suggesting other things to see and do as well. They were even quite happy and able to tell us where to find specific shops etc that we were looking for. A very nice place to stay. We'd stay there again.
