Good service, great location in Hue

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is nicely located in amongst quite a few restaurants. We went to a popular Italian restaurant which is just around the corner from the hotel. The hotel was fully booked when we were there and we got upgraded to the honeymoon suite and so the room was better than the room that we originally booked!! It had a computer, fresh fruit basket daily, big spa bath and a decent view of Hue from the room. The only downfall is the mouldy smell in the room. I think it is due to the fact that it rains alot in Hue. The buffet breakfast was pretty ordinary.

My 22 yr old daughter and I stayed at the Orchid Hotel and would highly recommend it! The staff were friendly and helpful and could speak english quite well. The location is excellent as far as restaurants/bars being close by. We loved the fresh fruit and water supplied daily plus a chocolate on our pillow at night!!! Another fantastic service was a computer in our room. A unique touch was the origami animals left on our beds everyday using our towels. Very clever! Would definitely stay at the Orchid again!

Great service and hospitality, most friendly stuff, water bottles even in the bathroom for hygenic reasons. Good located in town. Restaurants around are very tourstic and not that interesting.
