We stayed at this hotel in December 2007. Like many others, it is in need of a fresh coat of paint to tidy it up. The deluxe riverside rooms were large with a good bathroom. Hotel staff at the desk just do what is required of them, no more. The location is great, with the river view. I feel a hotel with many restaurants in it like this,is a bit of a waste, as there are a wide variety of restaurants just outside the front door. Bit strange that in a hotel this size room service isn't available (to those of us too sick to venture out). Arrangements had to be made personally with the hotel restaurant, including payment, before it could be sent to the room. Buffet breakfast was good. If you have been to the water puppets in Hanoi, don't bother with the ones next door. Despite claims that the show is different, it is same same.
