This is the best quality we have experienced in Vietnam by far. Everything is done with brilliant understatement. The room was superb, the breakfast just unbelievable and their is an attentive staff member to handle any enquiry. The handle on my wifes suitcase broke...she asked at Reception where in Hue we might get it repaired and within minutes the maintenance staff arrived, assessed the problem took the case to their workshop and half an hour later it was returned better than new - no charge. The location by the river is great. I could not fault their operation. Simply the best
The hotel is excellent. The ambience is wonderful, the rooms are very comfortable, the staff go out of their way to provide outstanding service. We used the tour desk on several ocasions and although we were advised that it was more expensive than going to the tour companies in town, we found that the guides and drivers were very good.
The breakfasts were delicious and we also dined in the restaurant twice and enjoyed it very much on both nights. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel,
Excellent hotel. Must book a room with river view. Very comfortable, excellent restaurant, pool blissful after the heat of Hue. Wished we could have stayed longer. Service very good. Really recommend.
I liked the art-deco architecture and interior of the hotel which gives me an "old world" feeling
As the hotel was converted from an old mansion, I feel that I am staying in a huge mansion with landscaped grounds
I enjoyed dining in the restaurant because of the ambience, quality and reasonable pricing.
When my buddy and I got to the hotel, we were a bit surprised that there wasn't anyone to open the door for us or help us with our luggage, though it wasn't a big deal as we didn't have much with us. The hotel more than made up for this by upgrading us to a Superior riverfront room (without us asking for it). Our room was lovely and very comfortable. We had a hot-stone massage at the spa and though pricey, it was excellent, in fact, the best massage we've ever had! The receptionists were very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely come back to this hotel if we visit Hue again!
Simply excellent! This hotel sure is our number one in Vietnam, topping even the Sofitel Metropol in Hanoi. The hotel is flawless in every aspect, be it location, service, food (simply marvellous! Don't miss dinner in the garden!), architecture, interior design, a wonderful big pool with view on the river - and everything comes moderately priced. This hotel sure is a gem, that cannot be praised high enough.
