Good value hotel
The Light has spacious, light and airy rooms and is located close to the beach and "Backpacker area". Just across the road from Louisiane Brehouse and an easy stroll from the Sailing Club. Some areas of the hotel are looking a little tired. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall it represents good value for money
Good location but accommodation only reasonable
The Light is a reasonable old hotel but needs a bit of work. Probably a little over priced for what you get. We had 7 in our group (6 rooms in total) 4 of the rooms had something wrong (broken or not working...e.g. air con, shower, tv and safe). The best thing going for the Light is the Louisianne Brewery accross the road (food, beer and service pretty good) the restaurant strip which is only a 10 min walk from the hotel (we tried the Good Morning Vietnam Italian restaurant - every one was happy). Other than breakfast, which is passable, don't eat at the hotel - we did and were disappointed. Overall, if you don't want anything flash but you're after a good location the Light is O.K.
New Experience
The hotel was located by the beach and the rooms captured a fantastic view of the beach. The room was well maintained. However, it would do the hotel well to increase the water pressure on Level 9. The staff is very friendly and the service standard is within the Vietnamese standard. Overall, a great experience with the hotel.
Nice hotel
Good hotel with a good location. Staff were always helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Would stay again.
A pleasant stay
Hotel is in a very good position for beach. Very busy for Tet and so a lot of noisy kids running around.
Excellent location
I liked the slightly out-of-the-tourist-street location of the Light Hotel. Still close enough to walk everywhere but nice and quiet. Loved being across from the little amusement park and the Louisianne Brewhouse and beach - fantastic. Staff were very frinedly and helpful. Would definately stay again. Worth the little extra cost.

Great location, comfortable and excellent service
This hotel is located right across the road from the beach and Louisiana Brew House which is a must to visit for some relaxing beers. The staff were excellent and speak very good english. The room was very comfortable and large. Would recommend trying to book a room higher up in the hotel as the party music in the evenings is very loud on the 1st floor.
Nice place for the value...
Very nice hotel for the value. Good atmosphere, great pub downstairs and cocktails. Very good customer service, thank you very much.
