Great location, great value ,great staff!
We really enjoyed our stay here. It's right where you need to be and so affordable .
Clean rooms and bedding. Cute balcony. Great staff.
The only thing westerners will find awkward is the sink based shower, common in Asian guest houses, and the very(very!) firm mattress. Hard beds too are standard fare in asian guesthouses,
But this was by far the firmest in a 5 week trip.
But hey I sleep on the ground when camping and actually prefer a rock hard bed.

Wonderful
A truly wonderful experience. Lovely hotel in a nice quiet location with plenty of good restaurants a 2 minute walk. 5 minutes walk from beach a family run hotel and the staff could not have been more helpful. We could only stay for one night as we had booked to travel on next day but would loved to have stayed longer. Thank you for everything.
Family run and friendly
The guesthouse is in a great central location and is run by a really friendly family, they were very helpful and interesting to talk to. I was impressed by the facilities considering the price of the room (a/c, en suite, fridge). Very good value for money!
A Great Place
We stayed here for 4 nights. The lady who was running the hotel was really helpful and kind. Even though its right in the middle of the main area of the town, at night its very quiet and you can get a really good nights sleep.
Great value for money. The owners are very friendly - Ms.Phuong speaks very good English. She was very helpful at all times (when I asked for a hairdryer Ms.Phuong just gave me her mother's!)
The room was clean, there was an a/c, a fridge, a TV and a small wardrobe. Great location - quiet but close to the beach and all the restaurants are near.
I wish they changed the sheets though... But maybe I should have asked.
I had a small room with a single bed, but there are bigger rooms, good for families or group of friends.
Great place
The Tulip was central to the beach and bars and the family that run it were very friendly. However they locked the external doors at 11pm without notifying guests which caused a problem when another couple who got in past 1am and subsequently couldnt get in and caused a huge drama rattling doors etc. The owners didnt hear and it caused uproar with locals and woke everyone up. We found a gem of a restaurant called Ciao Vietnam which was delicious and great value for money. this was next to Lanterns which was recommened in Lonely Planet but we didnt rate very highly. Overall great location, good value for money, good facilities and clean.
Good value stay
Good location and good price. Clean and very big room. only down side is that you can feel the spring of the mattress sleeping on it.
Little hotel in central location, very friendly staff. Rooms are simple but clean and very cheap. Not far from the beach.
Hidden Gem
This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was in a perfect location close to all the great restaurants, attractions, and the beach. So far the best budget hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. It is family run and there is always a friendly face greeting you and there to help you no matter what you need. The hotel was beautiful covered in marble and impeccably cleaned daily. The room was big, comfortable and even had a balcony - an amazing vale for the money. We would definitely recommend the place and stay there again when in town.
Very friendly owner and staff, nice room with balcony, close to the beach, many stores and restaurants close.
