We stayed 3 days in this hotel....
We stayed 3 days in this hotel. The room was quite a surprise, very small, compared to other hotels in Vietnam, much cheaper, but better sized. The reception service is very poor, the staff never smiles or says hello. This hotel is very quite. There was never any chairs at the beach, all occupied, or at the swimming pool. We ended up on the sand !
The breakfast was very good, fresh juices, and all sorts of fresh fruit, bread or even Asian food and served on the beach front with a beautiful view.
All in all, a nice hotel for people who desire some peace and quite.

The hotel is located just in the middle of the town and by a nice beach. All the facilities are perfect and the rooms are renovated and kept in a ZEN style, which I like the most. The swimming pool is large and clean and all the staff is doing excellent job.
I was positively surprised by the quality of service and conditions as whole.

i would definately stay at this hotel again. I found it to be one of the best beach resorts in Vietnam and would have no problems recommending the hotel and Asia

This resort is absolutely beautiful. We wished we had booked to stay longer - we didn't want to leave. It is so beautiful, romantic, peaceful, right on the beach. The staff are friendly and eager to help. We couldn't have asked for anything more! Restaurants are within walking distance so if you don't want to eat at the Resort there are plenty to chose from. A short taxi into Phan Thiet will take you to the shopping area - if you can tear yourself away from the beach! I strongly recommend this resort.

Second time we stayed here. First time it was new but poor workmanship on renovations has led to a very rapid deterioration. They will need to ensure they keep on top of it, as this could let them down quickly. Bathroom door would not shut, cigarette butts around pool and tile missing already on vanity. Gave them a list of all things that needed attention but only a couple were attended to. I am aware that training of staff is in progress and the GM is certainly doing a fine job, but the head office need to quickly address these issues, as I am sure it must be frustrating for the Australian management team. Will stay there again however I am hopeful that they will address these urgent issues. Also, a feedback form in room would help them a lot, as they aren't getting any comments back on maintenance issues from guests, unless they are like me and won't take second best!

Hotel reception lady didnt want to help even though the room wasnt adequate, missing hair dryer and other accessories. She seemed more interested to read her magazine than take prompt action.
Also, our bungalow sea-view room was masked by another room in front of us, we requested room change since this was low season and there was plenty of other bungalows unoccupied (she even acknowledged) however the receptionist once again gave us the "I am too lazy" look and reply.
It's quite disappointing we received this low level of service even though we paid for the highest priced room at the hotel.

Generally a good resort to stay. Only some parts of Mui Ne has crystal clear waters but nevertheless those near the resort is beautiful and uncrowded. The hotel offers direct access to the beach which was a plus (so does many other beach resorts in Mui Ne). Breakfast was quite good though the rooms and attached bathrooms reminds me of a chalet more than a resort hotel.
Well-kept and beautiful gardens throughout the resort property. Service was generally okay though I felt the services I received at the beach restaurant was better than the counter staffs. The restarant food prices are slightly expensive, but I was pleasantly surprised by the huge portion of the food which tasted pretty good! The beach restaurant offers beautiful views of the sea.
The resort also has its own spa and they are not very expensive and professionally-run. The spa service is good.
Blue Oceans is situated in the middle...
Blue Oceans is situated in the middle of a long beach - perfect for walking or early morning swims. It gets windy mid morning - so unless you want to watch the surf/kite flying or join in, just lying on the beach is out. The pool is delightful - large and clean - with bar service. The hotel food seemed expensive - but just across the road are numbers of restaurants and cafes and bars - so you have good choices. The complementary buffet breakfast catered for all tastes and was marvellous - but their coffee was ho-hum. The hotel staff were very helpful. This is the place to relax, with a book - bring your own entertainment. We appreciated having our own little ground floor room with a view of the ocean and gardens, rather than high rise - like some of the other hotels near by. We would return again rather than go to one of the other resorts. It was luxury we could afford. Thanks very much to Blue Oceans for a perfect relaxing few days.
