Restaurant staffs are very attentive to the needs of the guests. They noticed my daughter's discomfort and accompanied us to the restroom. They also offered a cup of hot ginger tea which helps to relieve her stomach cramp. The only set back is the location of the hotel which is quite far from the central Mui Ne. However there is a shuttle bus that ferry guests twice a day to Saigon Mui Ne. I think the local tour to Sandune, fishing village etc is expensive (USD30 per person). We can get cheaper ones in the central Mui Ne.Overall I think hotel is good for companies retreat or families with a transport.

We really loved Romana...it is about 7mins from the main shops/restaurants and other hotels but we did like this. Having our own pool was delightful and nice to be able to get changed and jump straight in not have to walk to the pool as the grounds are quite large.
The spa is a little pricy in comparison to others in the area but I did have a facial which was great.
We didn't eat at the hotel other than the breakfast that is included and that was fine nothing to rave about...although the setting is very nice!!
Found the staff to be good in general a bit slow to come to the room when you require something and over the phone there understanding of english was a little bad.
Only thing that was a issue was that we put the sign on the door to have the room cleaned....it didn't happen we left at 10am and returned at 2pm room hadn't been done and then we went out at 4pm and returned at 8pm still not cleaned but the cleaners did turn up at 8.30 ready to clen we told them not to bother and it was to late...this was our main disapointment in Romana overall stunning would go there again...would recomend to people for sure!!!

For Christmas 2007, we spent 10 days at the Romana Resort in Phan Thiet. It was absolutely heavenly.
From the super friendly staff, to the fabulous private pool, to the never-ending breakfast and dinner buffets . . . this place is something special.
Although the English level of the staff is low, their smiles and kindness more than make up for it. The advertised "gym" is less equipped than one of my party had hoped for, but this didn't take away from our overall enjoyment.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We're still dreaming about the views from our villa.

We stayd there fore 7 nights and overall it was a great stay. The employes must learn to speak english better, it was very difficult to have an conversation.
The gymnasticroom vere very poor and the aircondition didn´t work in that place.

Stay in the room with pte pool...
Stay in the room with pte pool for 2 nights last week. The Location of the resort is very far (6-8km)from areas where other resort is situated. No supermarket in the resort yet. Although the resort is far, cab/taxi is easily available.
Resturant price is reasonable and food is nice. Breakfast had limited choice. Their Vietnamese coffee is a must try.
The resort is very new and nice. Good view of the sea but the beach is not ready. (Maybe I was there at the wrong season)
The Pte pool with room is a bit open. Outsider can easily enter your compound. The pool become dirty after 1~2 days.
SPA is abit expensive and the skill of the staff is still quite new.
The staffs are friendly even though some of them do not know how to speak english.
Overall it is a beautiful resort... Nice place to relax...
