Don't do it
As good as it looks, if you are after peace and quite then this is not the place for you, it has a lane next door that attracts many noisy bikes and people that like banging at 6 in the morning, the ponds around the apartments attract many frogs and the noise, well u can guess. There is much need of repair to the wooden decking around pool and beach bar. The food was very poor and you can eat much better at the markets. The spa, well looks good, but had a very poor Vietnamese massage. To top it all up we had no wifi for all the time we were there and they will even charge you for the use of the pool tables in the bar, overall the staff were polite, but that's as far as it goes,

Positives: Jimmy - who looks after the beach bar great service, great sense of humour and great English); all the reception staff, restaurant and bar staff (couldn't do enough for us); the rooms (beautiful wooden decor, really nice layout of 'ancient resort' style rooms; fantastic swimming pool (because the hotel is still in soft opening phase we had the huge pool all to ourselves for the 3 days we were there, most people gravitate to the beach).
Negatives: No major ones. This is a lovely resort. Half of it has still to be finished (this is a benefit if you like quiet resorts)but there was no construction work while we were there. The beach is not very clean - we didn't swim in the sea - but Sao Beach on the other side of the island is stunning and water is crystal clear; the hotel bar closes at 10.00 and while we were there we were the only people in it - plenty of options for food and drink within taxi / 1km walk but most close by 11.00.

Work in progress
This hotel is beautiful but it is not completed yet. Several sections are still under construction, which sometimes can be annoying. Also some of the features - such as in-room WI-FI - are not available yet. Nevertheless this was a pleasant stay.
Rooms are very nice, spacious and clad in wood panels.
