| "Best backpacker hostel in Fiji. Absolutely loved this place. Had 4 months total in Fiji and spent 2 of them in Mango Bay. Best thing about this place is there's always something to do, and the activities and facilities are so varied, there's something for everyone. Many of my friends from other islands had reservations about the 'flashpacker' identity and were worried it would be too expensive. I found absolutely the opposite. Great value for money, I ate wonderful food and drank great wine every day, went diving almost every day, sometimes twice a day, and paid considerably less than expected. The kind staff also gave me a huge discount on my last couple of weeks there, and I didn't even ask them to.
Swimming, snorkelling, diving, horseriding, banana boating, partying at night in the nightclub and finishing each night with a bon fire on the beach. Absolute heaven. Great meals, a very pretty pool, Fiji's wonderful sunsets. My favourite dog in the entire world also lives there (he belongs to one of the owners) - he's so lovely. They made my bed every day, and always with a smile. Very nearly did my Dive Master course here but ran out of time. Saw rays, turtles, lion fish and reef sharks on almost every dive, and went exploring new dive sites twice a week. Owners made me feel very welcome and the staff were the best - nicest of any resort in Fiji (I've stayed in 8 in total).
You will love this place, whether you're alone or with friends, want to relax or get involved. One of the best hostels in the world for sure.
