"Grand old-style luxury, enjoyed over the years by many of the rich and famous.1,000 yds SW of Place Massena, on corner of quiet side street and main seafront road, in area of luxury apartments, occasional cafes and small restaurants. Massena Museum adjacent. Beach 50 yds. Bus stop outside.True luxury and splendour with many artworks, both antique and modern. Smart reception. Spacious lounge under impressive stained-glass dome; second one with original 16th-century decor. Warm galleried bar. Gracious gourmet restaurant. Fashionable brasserie has fun carousel-themed decor."
