Would I stay at this location
again:

Probably not
the hotel room was leaking from a broken air conditioning component - it took 2 days and three attempts to fix it - the first two times the repairman shut down the A/C to stop the leak. this was a big problem for my mom 87 year old - was afraid she will slip on the wet floor as a platinum priority club member i was not treated appropriately. the bathroom faucets were too complicated for regular humans to use - the first employee sent to explain could not figure it out either.

"we found the hotel to be of a very high standard, friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was being stuck in the lift for over 10 minutes, but the hotel rewarded us with free cocktails all night, outstanding service."

"Very good Intercontinental!"

"The hotel is very conveniently located. In front of the hotel the major bus service 200 operates every 10 minutes. The bus, underground train and light railway hub Zoo can be reached within 5 minutes walking. The room is a bit small compared to other 5 star hotels I've stayed in, anyhow it is very nicely decorated. Some gimmicks like turning the PC desk in a make-up table or turning the TV from the bedroom to the bath-rooms have made this stay a bit more special. The bath-room was very nicely designed and offered a bath tub with a shower head and an overhead shower, which offered a rainy like water experience. The staff had been friendly, but not extraordinary helpful, which is what I expect of a 5 star house. Even we have been traveling with only one piece of luggage, nobody cared about moving it to our room. The turn-down service is only available on prior request. The breakfast was absolutely awesome! A very big variety of bread, cold cuts, cheese, pastries, pancakes, waffles, fruit, yogurt, fish, cereals, juice, tee and coffee was available. The only downside was that not the whole breakfast area had been opened, so the restaurant became very crowded. Overall I liked the stay a lot, because the value for money (given the Asiarooms price) was very good. Anyhow I expected a bit more from a 5 star hotel and I would complain, if I payed the official Intercontinental rate of more than 200 Euros/night."
