"hotel is good for budget, but it's quite danger for woman, and it's far from the airport bus transfer. "

"hotel was in a good location as far as transportation and walking distance to all attractions. the area was a bit shady to say the least, especially in the evening but as long as you stay to the main streets, it should be safe enough. the cleanliness of the room was a bit to be desired ie: dirty glasses and sheets and towels unchanged still overall for budget or young groups of people, i would recommend the stay. "The hotel is in a very dodgy location that makes it very unsafe if arriving/departing at night. You need to be very careful after dark as Omonia Square is a hang out for prostitutes, drug dealers and pimps. We didn't know this and when we arrived at 11pm at night we felt uncomfortable. The rooms are a good size and was clean. The ac worked well. The bathroom had no shower-only a hand-nozzle in a bath. Only very small towels were provided. The breakfast is typical European-style (bread, meat, cheese, corn flakes coffee). If you want more I would suggest buying yogurt and fruit from a nearby mini mart. Overall, a very basic hotel. Wouldn't recommend for a woman travelling by herself due to the location."

" We just returned from 4 nights here - it's good for the price of $72 for the room and breakfast. Location was GREAT for us, near the metro. Breakfast was European Standard: juice (orange), cereal (cornflake lookalikes), bread, cheese, processed meat, coffee. There are plenty of restaurants and tavernas nearby. A couple of stores for beer/wine/food are very close by.All in all we found it good value for money of us. If you want style and comfort you might find this challenging but if you enjoy saving accommodation costs to put towards the rest of your holiday then this must be a winner!"

" This hotel is a budget hotel, but the service was a great one. The room was suitable with the economical price. The restaurant is very good. Moreover it is located on top of the hotel and it has a very nice view of city. I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was 5 years ago and it seemed a lot nice. This second time it was nicer, it's just worth its rates."

" EXCELLENT LOCATION! Just a few blocks from the Amaryllis Inn Hotel access to many places of great interest,. Rooms are adequate size with bathrooms. Maid service daily and very clean rooms. The lobby is testy. The rooftop garden complimentary breakfast was great with a stunning view of the Athens. I would stay in this hotel again!"

"Hotel Amaryllis-INN Athens is located in the center of Athens at Menandrou street no 25 and Pireos street corner, We can walk to the National Archaeological Museum, the National theatre, the railway station and the flea market. Acropolis and Plaka. I can easy access to the transportation service for the new airport as well as to the harbour for any island connection. If stayed here you would love its location. It is truly heart of Athens. "

"Great hotel. Extremely clean. Looked like new rooms. Mini bar was nice. Personnel were most helpful in every way, from hotel services to booking a rental car. Breakfast buffet was great. Not too far from subway. I would stay there again."

"My friend and I just returned from Athens last week, we were so impressed about our time at Amaryllis Inn. Hotel s’ staffs are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located on a quite road at the commercial center of Athens with easy access to many places of great interest, constitutes an ideal base for exploring the city. We can go shopping easily. We spent low price for our accommodation so we have more money for shopping!. "
