"Decent hotel for the money. Great location central to Wanchai. Close to MTR and Airport Express which is very conveinient. Great service from the staff. Overall a pleasurable stay. I would stay there again to save the money over the 4 and 5 stars in the area."

"usually my stays at the empire go without a problem, but it was obvious that the people before me had been smoking in my non smoking room. which is not the hotels fault and they would have moved me if the hotel wasn't full, but as an exsmoker it was a pain. usually very happy, this time, a bit disappointed, but i will go back"

"I requested to have an early check-in because I needed to attend an meeting at 11:00. The receptionist told me that there were some empty rooms but it would take about two hours to clean these rooms. I asked the receptions if he could arrange to clean the room as early as possible and then give me a call when the room was ready. However, this reception impolitely told me that the check-in time should be 02:00pm everyday and he could do nothing. After waiting for 1.5 hour, the reception did not give me any call. I asked him if there was empty room. Then I could check in successfully. The receptionist gave me a poor impression. I will not recommend my friends/olleagues to book this hotel"

"This is quite a reasonable hotel in Wan Chai. Fairly central so in a good location. Rooms small but very clean. Breakfast Ok but could be a bit fresher."

"The location is few minutes away from Wan Chai train station. The room is clean but the bathroom is bit small. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is not free broandband, you pay extra for internet access (HKD35 for 1 hr and HKD100 for 24 hrs). It's one of the hotels in Hong Kong Island where you can catch a free shuttle bus goes to/from the Hong Kong station for Airport Express. "

"The Staff was wonderful and more that happy to help accommodate hotel guest. As for cleanliness,it was not quite there. Housekeeping still needs to work out some issues. But for a quick stay, this place is great."
