| "Great value for the price considering you are in Hong Kong.Room not too big but very homely.Bathroom perfect.The shower the best I've ever seen.The eating facilities were closed for renevation but you certainly won't starve in Hong Kong.Excellent Western supermarket next door.Location is very hilly if you like walking but in a really quiet,nice and safe area.Otherwise there are thousands of taxis which are very cheap.The staff were very friendly and helpful.Altogether a really nice medium priced place to stay.My Thai wife and myself really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend the Garden View International House to anyone. P.S.The locals like taxi drivers still refer to it as the Y.W.C.A. or No.1,McDonell Road." |
