My fianee and I have just returned from a brief 4 day stay at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong, and in my humble opinion, it was arguably the best hotel in my limited experience, having stayed at the Excelsior, the Harbour View, The Park Hotel, the Miramar, etc.
The Grand Hyatt was very well staffed, and the hotel room was cleaned not just once but twice a day. Their staff at the driveway was considerate enough to directly instruct the taxi driver regarding the destination, rather than to rely on the hotel guest to confer with him. These are just some of the finer points that separate the Grand Hyatt from the rest, with all due respect to the other hotels. Of course there are areas that can be improved, including the provision of a better television set, than the old rear projection unit; one would hope for a plasma or LCD screen.
I will not hesitate to return to the Grand Hyatt.
