we stayed for two nights in a standard room at this hotel and it was excellent value for money. The best rate I could find was on Asiarooms and it was instant confirmation which was all the better.
After all the comments about hotel rooms in Hong Kong being tiny, we did not find the room terribly small (for two nights), although I did ask to see a Parlour Room which was spectacular in every way. The Parlour Room is huge, luxurious, and has a breathtaking view as well. I think if we were staying for longer, it would be nicer to pay the extra and enjoy the shear luxury of the parlour room
I also viewed a deluxe Harbour View Room, and this is the same as the standard room exactly, but has the view.
Anyway, back to the Standard Room - it was immaculately clean with enough room for everything - super comfortable bed, a good sized wardrobe, small but good bathroom, a desk, and probably the best idea I have seen, out of all the hotels we stayed at-a mirrored desktop which stores a great hairdryer, where you can do your hair and make up in front of the window whilst sitting comfortably.
The hotel is in a brilliant location (Tin Hau) directly opposite the MTR - a few steps away from the Tram and bus and excellent shops all around, such as a great supermarket, two excellent bakeries, a european cafe where you can get a really good cheap breakfast if you don't want to eat another hotel buffet, a 7-11 and numerous local restaurants and interesting shops.
The staff are lovely, helpful and efficient, the hotel has a great business centre and best of all- free internet.
There is really good entertainment each night from 7.30 in the bar. The bar has very good atmosphere and is a nice place to sit and relax after battling the crowded streets in Hong Kong.
All in all, I highly recommend this hotel- you cannot go wrong staying at Metropark Causeway.

| "This hotel is 2 mins walk from a MTR, which is great to use to get around HK. the room was very clean and great view of the sky line and habour.
A bit on the expensive side but cheaper than other hotels right on the habour. " |

| "Overall it's a nice hotel. My gf and I found the room to be a bit small, and no bath tub which was a let down, but since its in the metro area it's understandable. We asked for a non-smoking room so it was higher up, the view was ok. We loved the roof top pool and gym, that was beautiful. For the high price we paid the roof top pool was worth it, but if you're traveling with a budget, then mayb look for hotels further out of city. The people at metro was friendly and all speaks english well. The MTR station is just across the road, so traveling anywhere in HK was easy." |

| "It was a pleasant stay there with great view from the room. The bell boys were friendly and offered to help us when they see us with loads of things on our hand. The room was big and comfortable. I love the super comfy bed! And the MTR is jus 5minutes walk from the hotel. It's just so convenient and quiet. I would definitely stay there again during my next visit. " |

| "I head up the client management side of a mjor Travel Management Company and I travel a lot for my work. When in HKG I normally stay at the Langham Hotel. This was a private trip to HKG so I stayed at the Metro Park Hotel Causeway Bay. I was very impressed.
Whilst the standard rooms at the metro Park are small, they are perfectly designed and laid out. The pool area is has one of the best views in HKG....the staff were very obliging allowing us to drink our champagne by the pool watching the sunset (platsic glasses of course).
The cafe, whilst not 5 star, is perfectly adequate for breakfast and lunch and a lite dinner.
The concierge and check in staff were EXCELLENT. Nothing was too much trouble.
I would strongly recommend this hotel." |
