| "When I booked, the hotel had a special deal via Asiarooms so this worked out at 47GBP a night, however, it is not normally cheap. The hotel can be seen from Victoria harbour on the Star Ferry. Instead of being given standard rooms (as booked), my group were upgraded to luxurious suites upon arrival with a view of the harbour which was exceptional. The staff were really professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and communicated well in both English and Cantonese.
Inside the suite, the shower cubicle was meant to be the modern LED-controlled (optional sit-down) sauna-type but did not work, however, the bathroom with a separate vanity table and mirror with hairdryer was a plus. It was a shame not to be offered a daily newspaper like in other 4-star hotels, but the TV was easy to navigate. Making phone-calls from your room is seriously damaging to your wallet so is not advised. You can buy calling cards from the 24-7 convenience stores and use these in-store or else let people know your room number and they can call you via the hotel's main number.
The hotel is a short taxi/bus/tram ride from Sheung Wan or Central MTR stations, although I found hailing taxis outside the one-way street isn't very easy. There are several good and inexpensive cafeterias around the corner from the hotel which serve English breakfasts, dinner etc and these have English menus. There are 24-hour convenience stores (Circle-K, 7-11) nearby along with a Mannings drugstore. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to those who can afford to stay in the Western district and who don't mind being a short distance away from the MTR and the busyness of Central/Wan Chai/Causeway Bay. In all, I would happily stay there again." |

| "Location quite far from MTR. Lots of buses though.NOT A SHOPPING LOCATION. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room allocated to us was too small and cramped but we upgraded to a suite and it had a fabulous view and more spacious. Lots of local restuarnts around but a problem if you cannot speak the language. Not recomended for senior travellers as too far from MTR.
Enjoyed my stay though nothing to do in the hotel. Very bad television channels." |

| "The hotel is conveniently located with direct bus to and from the airport not far away.
The only regret is that the TV entertainment channels are quite limited. So when we are stuck in the hotel because of the typhoon, there wasn't much to watch on the TV.
The rating for the value of accommodation in the hotel is made in comparison to others in the vicinity during my period of stay (9 to 13 Aug 07)" |

| "My Stay at the Ramada Hotel Hong Kong was very pleasant. The room accommodations for my first week were excellent. I have no complaints. The staffs are very nice and very helpful. The room itself is kept up very clean. If there is any negative would be the noise coming from the tram rolling by every 10 minutes. But this is not the hotels fault. I was on the 7 floor and can hear the tram rolling by early morning starting at 7am. Again not the hotels fault. I would recommend requesting a high floor to avoid the noise. Other than that it is a very nice hotel and I would recommend to anyone." |

| "I had an enjoyable stay with my wife there. The staff service, ets everything is great except the distance to the nearest Sheung Wan MTR station was a bit too far for us to walk. As we travel a lot, we prefer to have access to MTR station.
Perhaps, in future you should provide free breakfast as many hotels are doing it. Thanks." |

| "Service quasi-inexistant.
Restaurant very poor and small, especially the breakfast.
Ratio quality/value inacceptable.
Positive point: rooms quiet and clean, with confortable beds. Quite a minimum!" |

| "I stayed in this hotel in early December 2005. This is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in Hong Kong. I travel to Hong Kong on a rather regular basis and have stayed in quite a few different hotels before - I must say that Ramada Hong Kong is the best value-for-money hotel in my opinion. The hotel rates is reasonable and affordable for all types of travellers. The facilities are in tip-top condition and the staff are very friendly in general. Even if a couple of the front-desk staff were not proficient in English, they will refer you to another staff who can handle English well. Overall, the hotel exudes a charm which you can hardly find in other same-range hotels." |
