| "Front desk staff was extremely helpful. As there were no rooms left in the category I reserved, they upgraded me to the club floor." |

| "This hotel is very convenient for business travel.
It is very confortable even if not with warm atmosphere.
My only negative comment, is they definitly ignore that they have customers using french language. It would be so easy to propose french international tv TV5 and not only spanish and german one...." |

| "We arrived after a long flight from the UK. They were not very welcoming and tried to place us in a room overlooking the building site in the near convention centre. They then suggested as we were agency guests we should pay a top-up premium for a renovated room. We refused and after a brief discussion was placed on the 36th floor overlooking the harbour. This was still noisy but would have been worse if we had been lower. The view however was good. There is nothing in the room unless you pay for it so be prepared. The lighting was very confusing and one could have done with bedside lights rather than overhead lights.
Breakfast was included and although reasonable quite often the plates of hams and cheeses were empty and one had to wait for them to be refilled.English cooked breakfasts were good. The continental breakfast was not good. Probably good for an overnight but not for a week or more.Sometimes the table service like the lifts in the hotel could be slow.
The gym was in another hotel (Hyatt) and very busy. It was a fair walk. There was no showers or any toiletries available. The pool was outside and cold.
On leaving no thanks were offered and there is no facilities for guests awaiting a late plane. One has to use a disabled toilet and shower (no towels or toiletries supplied)near the outside restaurant. This one facility has to be shared by table guests and others in the same position. Why no guest room?
Overall I would not recommend this if like us you were on holiday. Probably great for an overnight stay or business but not for holidays. Extremely expensive for what you get and there are better hotels on offer which value customer service and does not have the noise from the local building sites." |
