| "functional hotel, on a central location. We enjoyed our stay there, staff friendly and effective. Room a bit small like in Hong Kong usual. Internet should be included in the price. We will be back, especially about the location in Wan Chai for business and pleasure." |

| "Location is perfect, close to everything.
Rooms are very small and very dated with basic comfort.
Our room was quiet and clean!
For the price we paid I think it was well worth to stay there!" |

| "The hotel is in a great location. close to lots of great restaurants, shopping and the HKCEC for trade fairs, etc. Rooms are v small and a bit tired, but OK if you are working. We'd stay again as its good value and the location is terrific. Check out the new cafes just behind the hotel up the slight hill!!" |

| "We have been to Hong Kong a few times on our trips to New Zealand and love the place. The Wesley was excellent value for money and although the bathroom was rather small, the room had everything we needed for a very enjoyable two days. Everything in walking distance, great value for money - we would definately come again if the price was still right." |

| "I switched to the New Harbour hotel for 3 nites after 1 nite at the Wesley during the Rugby Sevens weekend. The room is smaller and older than the Wesley BUT the service is far better. The counter staff there smiled, and the attentive managers helped with luggage up the about 6 steps to get to the lift lobby (strange layout). When I checked out, they also helped with the luggage. In contrast, the counter staff at the Wesley was rude and unprofessional. My husband had arrived in HK earlier for a conference and I joined him only 2 days later. Despite my husband telling the counter staff to expect me at noon and let me in the room, when I asked the counter staff, he said there was no message, I asked him again, so after looking at the computer he said no. It took a phonecall from me to my husband on MY HANDPHONE, and my husband's voice to convince him to check. Guess what? He found the reminder. When I asked, so was there a reminder? He just THREW the room key on the counter for an answer. Wordlessly. Stay at the New Harbour, the location is a much shorter walk to WanChai station. To be fair, he was the rudest staff. But I don't see any other mamagers on duty that bothered to greet or smile at any guests either, as compared to the other hotel. I won't stay here again and will not recommend it to anyone I know. So a 5 rating for decent rooms." |
