"I stayed 4 nights, part leisure part business and value for money for room was excellent. It's a long way to go to Kowloon or Hong Kong Island, over 1 hour by local tram and MTR and in rush hour it is very crowded and not too pleasant a way to travel so avoid the peak periods The hotel facilities are adequate for a short stay but restaurant facilities are poor and range is very limited althouth the buffet breakfasts are excellent. Hotel staff are helpful and service level is good . Room rates booked are good value but additional charges are applied for everything extra and are expensive, phone calls, fax email are all charged quite heavily. The neighbouring shopping mall is also disappointing for visitors and westerners as the shops are not for tourists. Also food outlets are mostly fast food. English is not spoken by most of the traders. Overall excellant value for a short break if you are on a budget and want to live among the locals but not recommended for fine dining and good shopping. "This was our first time to visit Hongkong. This is also our second time to book through asiarooms.com. The first one was when we went to Bangkok last January and it was great. This time it was also great. Knowing that the hotel is situated in the New Territories, we expected that it was going to be far from Hongkong and Kowloon. But it was all addressed by their cheap bus service going to and fro tsim sat tsui for just 20HK$. The Hotel itself is very perfect for budget travellers who don;t want to sacrifice quality. There's a mall at the ground level. A convenience store for immediate grocery concerns. There's Mcdo and KFC for those who want to eat on the safe side. There's a movie house, and we watched Indy Jones there. The items being sold in the mall is also cheap, quite comparable to those in mongkok. The overall environment outside the hotel is quiet. We were fortunate to be situated on the 22nd floor, cornermost room and the view of the New Territories was fantastic. I will definitely recommend this hotel and asiarooms for making such a flawless reservation"

"The staff were not approachable and they don't know how to handle customers. On may 6, 2008 I experienced a terrible problem. We took the hotel shuttle bus to the airport, unfortunately the shuttle bus broke down in the middle for Tuen Mun Highway. The driver said he called the company already, just have to wait. But we had to catch the flight. I took the driver hand me the cell phone to call for help, then i called the hotle front desk and told they about our situation. The front desk told me their is no Manager to help, and the front desk don't care.So me & my 2 years old daughter had to stand on the side of the highway try to catch a taxi.I will never go back to this hotel anymore."

"We were very pleased with the hotel. Our room was a very good size with a half kitchen. It was very handy as the shops were next door and had a large supermarket. It had a shuttle bus which went into Kowloon and back a few times a day at a small cost. The train was also just across the street. We were unlucky as the weather was not good when we were there so did not get much chance to see the country side around the hotel."

Comments:

Great hotel! My girl friend and I loved the place, eventhough it was really far from HK city area. We spent our first day in HK at this hotel and we were upgraded to better room becos we asked for a non-smoking room. The room was huge and very high up(26th floor). The staff were really friendly and spoke good English. The mall downstairs provided some nice inexpensive restaurants (try the Roast Goose place called A-yi). Not many good shopping stores around if you're looking trendy clothing or designer brands, but for everyday items there's plenty around. The hotel's pool area was very nice, we spent many hours there, however, we were told by the lifeguard we couldn't take any photos there, that was very upsetting for us. Please change that rule about taking photos around the recreational facility area!! Next time I visit HK I'll definately stay at this hotel again, because its great value for money (less then double for hotels in the city area), and if I want to do some shopping and eating in the city, I'll just catch the bus in for little amount of money (40mins to city) and come back and relax by the pool at night.
