The room is really very small. There is enough space for just one person to walk from the bed to the bathroom at any one time. The location is rather good, as many shopping areas in mongkok are within walking distance. The free hourly shuttle bus is also convenient for getting to the Airport Express station if you're not in a rush.

| "Although the room is small (expected since we are in Hong Kong), the room provides everything we need. I can say it is a mini 4-star hotel room of Singapore. As for the location, it is quite near to Mong Kok shopping area. It provides free shuttle frequently from hotel to Mong Kok MTR station. If you prefer to walk it might just take 10~15 mins. Taking taxi from Mong Kok to hotel just costs us less than HKD30. Since the price is not expensive, don't expect good view from the hotel. It is located in light industry factories area. So I can say it has no view at all. However, it doesn't matter to me since most of the time I am not in the room. I wake up early and go out to eat and shop, then eat and shop again. Only go back hotel after 10pm. So, if you plan to stay lot of time outside and stay comfortably with limited budget, this hotel is my recommendation." |

| "The Dorsett Olympic is about 10/15 mins walk from Nathan Road and from the Mong Kok MTR station. Although some people may prefer to be nearer the Nathan Road area we didn't find this to be a problem.
The Dorsett looks like it has been renovated recently and the room was comfortable and pleasant and the bathroom modern and spotlessly clean.
The staff at reception were very helpful with infromation about how to get to places of interest. The daily house keeping was unobtrusive and efficient and so a big thanks to you all.
The Dorsett represents excellent value for money compared to other hotels and we would probably stay there again if returning to HK.

| "Although i had read past reviews about the room size, i must say that it is okay for what you pay. rooms were clean although small. anyway when you are in hong kong, space is pretty expensive and most hotels' rooms are small. we were out most of the time and only needed a room to sleep for the night. no doubt about it that if i were to go hong kong again and want a budget hotel without paying too much, i'd stay here again. there were a few good eating spots around the hotel and the mrt wasn't that far after all." |
