The location on the harbour front is magical. Set slightly out of the rat-run of TST to Central, it offers fantastic views combined with peace and tranquility. If you do not have a view of the Harbour from your room, a trip to the 21st floor rooftop swimming pool will provide all the vista that you would want. The nearby Star/First Ferries give easy access to the Island and the hotel's own shuttle bus to TST takes you directly into the heart of Kowloon's shopping area.
From entering the doors at the front entrance to leaving for a promenade along the harbour side, service is the reason the staff are there and they do it very well.
All the restaurants are very good, if a bit limited in their individual menus, but with so many different styles you are spoilt for choice.
This is a five-star hotel, with five-star facilities and services.
I would recomment the Harbour Plaza hotel to anybody spending a couple of days or a couple of weeks in Hong Kong who wants a relaxing and peaceful stay, with vibrant nightlife kept away, but not too far away.

| "I booked two rooms for me and my family. One was a courtview room and the other was a harbourview room. The view from the harbour view room was excellent and well worth the extra cost. The location was superb; there were plenty of wonderful restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity and easy access to the Hung Hom ferry dock. Taking a ferry across Victoria Harbour is one of the inexpensive pleasures of Hong Kong. This is my third visit to Harbour Plaza and I would definitely stay here again." |
