This hotel stay was extremely disappointing. They gave me a terrible room even though Id been a regular guest at the hotel a few years before. The desk staff are condescending-bordering on rude. They acted as though they were doing me a big favor by answering any questions. Yet--when a gentlman guest came to the desk I observed that they were always nice..this didnt happen once--it happened several times over the duration of my stay. In addition-the breakfast buffet was mediocre for a supposed 5 star hotel--you couldnt even get a cup of coffee without waving several times.
If you are a first time woman guest in Hong Kong--do not stay at this hotel. I may have to because of my business but wouldnt recommend it to anyone on a holiday. You will be upset to have spent money on folks who really dont care if you are at their hotel or not.

| "I booked two rooms for me and my family. One was a courtview room and the other was a harbourview room. The view from the harbour view room was excellent and well worth the extra cost. The location was superb; there were plenty of wonderful restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity and easy access to the Hung Hom ferry dock. Taking a ferry across Victoria Harbour is one of the inexpensive pleasures of Hong Kong. This is my third visit to Harbour Plaza and I would definitely stay here again." |
