I was there for 3 nights during weekend early september. Although I made a false mark that me and my wife were on honeymoon when making the reservation (we've been indeed newly married for three months), we were put in 'a room right next to the room that was being renovated, making loud hammering and machine-cutting noise.' It wasn't an irregular noise that would bug us once or twice a day, but a consistent one from 10 in the morning. Although it wasn't much of pain for us to bear because we'd go out between 10 or 11 and come back late at night, I cannot help think that it was very unacceptably inattentive of the person at the reservation to put the honeymooners in such a room. I don't know if they had other quite rooms available, but it could've been a lot more considerate if they had given us a sign of apology that they have no choice but to assign us the noisy room. They showed no sense of being deliberate by giving us no excuses whatsoever, therefore they deserve what I have to be writing now.
Another one that I didn’t think they were professional enough about was the stereo system. They had one of those brand new bose stereos that would play CD, DVD, Radio, all in one system. They didn’t have CDs, DVD titles available in the room, nor the radio would play any frequency. The volume dial in the washroom did not seem connected and would not work either.
The view, and other accommodations and facilities seemed fine. It wasn’t as convenient as other hotels in the neighborhood transportation wise, because MTR station and the shopping district were about 10mins away in the location where it’s very easy to get lost..(though it’s connected to MTR station underground, the actual platform is over 10 mins away and very labyrinthine.

| "The service we received was exceptional. It was the end of a 1 month vacation in Australia and Thailand and it put the icing on the cake so to speak.
The gym and pool were fantastic. The food was very very good. The people who waited on us were extremely friendly and helpful. " |
