Visited HK twice in 2005. I stayed in JW Marriott for 4 nights in July. I stayed in Excelsior for 3 nights this trip in November and transfer to Mayfair Garden Hotel for 1 night extention of stay. After staying in 5 stars luxuary hotels and we found there is only one negative comment on the renovated Mayfair Garden - no safety box in room. Thinking of the price is about 4 times difference, we rather stay in Mayfair Garden.
1. Hygienic and clean - white and clean towels, bed sheets, pillow covers.
2. Furniture - really renovated and space usage concerned designed, beige carpet flooring and warm lightings.
3.Spent an Saturday night in hotel, so far no noice disturbance from neither next door or outside.
4.Service - contacted 4 of them, they took initiative to approach us and showed friendly manner. Good.
Minor - no room slippers and no shower cap is provided.
This hotel is not on shuttle bus route to Kowloon airport terminal station that make me not to give full rate to this hotel. I went to the station by a taxi cost about HK20 and the driver asked for HK10 extra. ??? Prepare yourself the situation and you will enjoy your stays!

| "Location is excellent, right around the corner from Jordan MTR and Temple marjet and just off Nathan rd.
Service is pleasant and staff are attentive to your needs. There is a doorman so security is good.
The room I stayed in was small in comparison to other hotels around the world, but you have to remember most Hong Kong hotels have small rooms. Not a problem for me as I was on my own.
Definately would stay here again, room was as nice as you can get for a 3 star hotel in HK, price wise this is considered a bargain, and the location was excellent. Highly reccomended." |

| "The rooms are clean but too small though. However,I would recommend those who are seeking for budget constrains as the location is very good, only 2 minutes walk to the MTR in Kowloon " |
