i work for a hotel chain in sydney, australia too and am delighted with the services of Nathan Hotel. The staff at front desk are very efficient and polite. Never failed to make eye contracts and offer a simple greeting. They may not realised the importance of such small gesture and its impact it has to the guests, but i'm sure seasoned & business travellers would appreciate the warm offered. experienced a problem with the shower hose on the 2nd morning of my stay, and had to ring front desk for assistance. Knowing how busy the morning can be with check-outs, i expected the phone to be answered after a long ring. when it was finally answered, i explained that we had to freshen up and leave the hotel in 45 mins. imagine my surprise when someone came knocking on the door in less than 3 mins! the housekeeping staff assessed the situation and said she had to call in maintenance. in less than 5 mins, they were in, and in less than 20 mins, everything was fixed! i have since returned to sydney, and had told my department heads and general manager of my experience with Nathan Hotel, and we have decided to set a target for ourselves, with Nathan Hotel as an good example!

"We are really happy and satisfied with our hotel! Size of the room>The Standard room is big for our family with two active kids with us (ages 7 and 10 yrs old). The Bathroom is big. It has a bathtub which we requested. We didn't feel cramped and has a lot of space to move freely. For a Hongkong hotel - this is really a great bargain! Staff >The staff are English speaking and they are very helpful especially Ariel (a Filipino Cantonese speaking staff). We ask him for places to buy good and trusty electronics gadgets. Location> the best its at the center. There's a Starbucks beside the hotel. You can walk the entire stretch of Nathan Road (though its really quite a walk!) till you reach the upscale area where the Peninsula and premium shops like LV,Burberry etc. At night, you can just cross the street towards the Temple Drive Market and eat at the al fresco restaurants. Ambiance not so nice but the food is great and reasonable! My family loved the deep fried garlic spiced crabs! There are so many same shops around the area, in front is a big Wing-On Department store and Crocodile Apparel Shop. Transportation> GREAT! There's Jordan MTR station nearby. The A22 bus (from the airport) stops almost in front of the hotel, with a short walk to the hotel. We loved the hotel and will definitely recommend to our family and friends and definitely will stay again. I also loved Asiarooms website. They give honest to goodness reviews and their prices are fantastic! No hidden charges."

"was pleasantly surprised being given a suite when I booked a deluxe room! even though I stayed for only 10 hours I enjoyed my shower and sleep very well! By the way, what would be your normal rate for that room 304? would definitely stay there again! Thank you! Rgds: Lim SC "

"Good location and quite large rooms, though the price level in October was unnecessary high. Nice surprice was that our room was upgraded to higher standard."
