| "Location wise, it may be a little difficult for a first-time traveller to HK to navigate to the hotel from Prince Edward Station on the first day. But after you managed to reach the hotel, the subsequent days will not be any problem at all. It's quite straight forward.
The room size is great for couples but probably not for a family of three (if you need to add an additional bed it may be a little cramped)and the toilet came fully equipped with toothbrush, toothpaste and even shower gel/shampoo, which was a pleasant surprise.
What was most commendable was the staff's service. As mentioned by various other posts, the staff will not automatically approach you but if you need help, they are definitely more than willing to assist. Special thanks go to Andy (whom we think is the hotel manager) and one of the male porter who gave us information on Macau and the nearby district around the hotel. The area around the hotel is also quite safe at night so no worries.
All in all I would say my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Newton Kowloon Hotel very much. " |

| "The service from the staff is superb. They are friendly and able to give direction on the places that we want to go. The standard room bed is quite small though but at least the toilet is clean. They allow late checkout since my flight is at 8pm. Yes, I will defintely go back to the same hotel but a bigger room next time. Walking distance to the flower street and woman street for a pregnant woman like me. Thank you Asia Room for such a great price for such a great hotel." |

| "This was my second stay within a month, the check in and check out were prompt and efficient, they had my stored luggage waiting for me behind the counter at my late check in - that was very nice of them.
The bath room had a bad smell, I later found out it was from the shower curtain which had not cleaned or changed for a while." |

| "We were a family of 4 and while we did find the rooms cosy and neat, there were certain drawbacks:
Asiarooms was one of the rare sites to have offered 3 bedroom options which most sites could not. It was my assumption that 3 bedroom would offer 3 beds in a room larger than a 2 bedroom room due to obvious reasons.
However, we were given an extra bed in a 2 BR, which made the room impossible to navigate.
The channel varieties that were offered were basic TV and for an English speaking tourist, it was pathetic. (Asiarooms should iclude hotel TV channels in their review form)
Breakfast was optional and we were charged the full mount even for our 4 yr old kid! Is that logical?" |

| "Location is a little off from subway stations and other popular areas e.g. Nathan Road, however it is manageable if you do not mind some walking in the warm and humid weather. On arrival, the taxi driver just dropped me off 2-3 blocks away saying he would have to make too many detours to negotiate the one way streets to reach the hotel entrance.
No electric socket in bathroom
All electric sockets in room require adaptors (not provided) for plugs from US, if you want to use more than one item, you will have to unplug the lamp or tv.
Service was minimal, the bell boy did not even offer to carry my bags to the room or to the taxi, he was friendly to give directions if you ask.
I had to ask for a new bar of soap after one day, then if you do not ask they will not give you a new one; they only provide a small piece of soap on the first day.
No tissue paper provided.
There is no main electric switch near the bed, you will have to get up to turn off the lights when you are ready to sleep.
My room was next to the pipe area, sometimes there was sound that was a little annoying, luckily it was not too loud and did not last all the time." |

| "Location is near ammenities - MTR, food and street stalls near the MTR. Just need to know the 2 different ways of getting to Prince Edward Station. Dont expect to experience hotel staff greeting but they are helpful whenever you have any questions. Room is value for money and surrounding is safe. " |

| "The location of the hotel is excellent. Jordan MTR station and bustling night markets like the Ladies Market and Fai Yuen market are just within 5 to 7 minutes walking distance. With a map in hand, I managed to explore all the way on feet to Tim Sha Shui without any difficulty. Meanwhile, there are many cafeteria and convenience stores situated around the hotel. Thus, the search for food is not a problem at all. Accomodation wise, the room size is alright for my girlfriend and myself. Cleaniness is good too. Last but not least, all the hotel staff are friendly and helpful and to Newton Kowloon Hotel, "I'll be back". " |
