I found the Newton Kowloon hotel a very good place to stay. My rooms was modern and comfortable, with all facilities and TV channels in english. The staff is helpful and professional. It is not noisy, there was double windows against noise and a heavy curtain protecting the room against warmth and light. Of course, you can use the air conditioning. There is no limitation of time for breakfast, which one appreciate when getting up late !
Location : 5 minutes walk from MTR, very easy to find.
The area is quiet and nice (a flower market street very near) with a lot of restaurants and shops. You can walk alone late in the street.
Beside, after a 15 minutes walk to the south from the hotel, you arrive in a trendy area where young people go shopping in the evening, with pedestrian streets and also plenty of eateries. It's very interesting and fun. You are not to far too from the beautiful and trendy commercial center Langham Place where you can also eat.
I hope it is not too long and I tried to be complete!

| "We found this facility to be in a great location for getting to the MTR and travelling around the city. The Hotel itself is rather tired and very over priced for what you receive. We have been travelling in Asia for some time now and I would not stay here again in comparison to what we have received for our money elsewhere. The mould in the room and the hotel itself caused respitory problems for me. The staff was wonderful in every way right down to the restaraunt staff.

| "MTR not within walking distance,about 20 mins! Room & bathroom were very small!! :( Pillows were flat & should be replaced. Overall experience - only excellent for budget travellers!" |

| "We enjoyed our stay. The hotel rooms look new and smell fresh. The bedlinen too. The staff were friendly and helpful and requests from housekeeping were promptly met. A minor point was that no face tissue paper was provided." |

| "on my first day, they gave me a small room and the bed kind of small for 2 people ( guess only ful size ) ! I asked them see if they could change me another room for my 2nd day ! they said the guests not checking out yet! And I asked them why my room the cooler / refg. is missing ? They said they took out to fix , only left with emtpy cabinet ! And the hotel don't even let me know the refrigerator is missing !!! And this is summer time !!!! what a surprise !!!!" |
