Location wise, it may be a little difficult for a first-time traveller to HK to navigate to the hotel from Prince Edward Station on the first day. But after you managed to reach the hotel, the subsequent days will not be any problem at all. It's quite straight forward.
The room size is great for couples but probably not for a family of three (if you need to add an additional bed it may be a little cramped)and the toilet came fully equipped with toothbrush, toothpaste and even shower gel/shampoo, which was a pleasant surprise.
What was most commendable was the staff's service. As mentioned by various other posts, the staff will not automatically approach you but if you need help, they are definitely more than willing to assist. Special thanks go to Andy (whom we think is the hotel manager) and one of the male porter who gave us information on Macau and the nearby district around the hotel. The area around the hotel is also quite safe at night so no worries.
All in all I would say my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Newton Kowloon Hotel very much.

| "The hotel room is bigger than expected. Even after adding an additional bed, there is still room for movement. Hotel is conveniently located to Fa Yuen Street and even within walking distance of Ladies' Market. However, we have difficulty finding the hotel initially, as the hotel sign is not easily seen, if walking from the direction of Prince Edward station. There are many local HK cafes near the hotel, so you also get to experience the authentic HK food. " |

| "We found this facility to be in a great location for getting to the MTR and travelling around the city. The Hotel itself is rather tired and very over priced for what you receive. We have been travelling in Asia for some time now and I would not stay here again in comparison to what we have received for our money elsewhere. The mould in the room and the hotel itself caused respitory problems for me. The staff was wonderful in every way right down to the restaraunt staff.

| "We enjoyed our stay. The hotel rooms look new and smell fresh. The bedlinen too. The staff were friendly and helpful and requests from housekeeping were promptly met. A minor point was that no face tissue paper was provided." |
