Would I stay at this location
again:

Probably not
The size of the room was a lovely surprise but the location of the room was noisy because one window faced the YMCA Salisbury Road's bus stop and you could hear the coach late in the night while the other window faced the Hankow Centre which was the meeting place for about 12 big tourist buses and 2 hundred tourists at 6:30am on Friday 14 April. The noise woke me up.

"After a long flight from the US, we were warmly greeted by the wonderful staff. I have been speaking highly of the Peninsula to my husband for years and I am happy to say, he was not disappointed. Since we only had one night to enjoy Hong Kong, we wanted to do it up right !! We arrived in time to have dinner at Felix....the view, the service and the food were outstanding."

"From the moment we exited the Aircraft it was first class all the way. Note: you must make sure the hotel knows your flight details (date/time)of arrival for hotel pickup (Rolls Royce)require transport to the hotel. What a way to start off a holiday. On arrivl at the hotel you are spoilt. Relaxing in the gym, swimming pool wet and dry sauna and hot plunge pool makes a great end to all your hectic days in Hong Kong. This was our third stay at the Pen and my family look forward to retuning in 2009. Robert & Masae Hutchison Banora Point NSW Australia."

"Absolutely stunning hotel. Having stayed here before we couldn't wait to come back and EVERY expectation was well and truly exceeded this time. Fabulous Service, Fabulous Rooms, Fabulous Hotel!! "

"Feel that the hotel is overstated. The room is what one would expect of a 5 stars hotel but nothing exceptional. Had a very bad experience when we wanted to have tea at the lobby lounge. The guest relations told us when we checked in that they gave priority to guests staying at the hotel but when we approached the service staff to tell him we were staying there and wanted a table for tea, he said " all those queuing are staying here", without even bothering to check. Earlier, we also saw another guest wallking off, shaking his head. Upon checking into the room, we also found a used contact len in the toilet and a strand of long hair at the bath tub. This housekeeping standard is certainly what we would expect of Peninsula Hotel. So it was a dissapointing experience for us, considering the price we paid for the room."
