I stayed at Royal Garden from 17th - 21st August 05 for 4 nights. The location is good with supermarkets, eateries nearby within 5 mins walk. Victoria habour is less than 5 mins walk away with a fantastic view of Hong Kong island. The service is good. The porters are friendly and the room service is good. They change the towels, bedsheets and tidy the room daily. The room has been refurbished, the bed is very comfortable and they provide a plasma TV. The long bath, in-room safe, mini fridge, coffee & tea facilities and mineral water are a plus. The downside is the swimming pool which is reserved for corporate customers only. You need to pay HK$160 per day to use the swimming pool and gym facilities. You need to walk about 10 mins to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR which is ok as you will pass by rows of shops along the way. It's slightly futher than hotels located at Nathan road but the room view is much better with a bigger hotel room. The human traffic below the hotel is not as congested as Nathan road. For breakfast, I would recommend trying out eateries nearby the hotel. You can get decent and good breakfast for around HK$30 per person. If you got time, try taking the MTR to Sheung Wan MTR station. Walk about 5 mins to Western market. Next to the market is the Fung Shing restaurant where they serve good dim sum. The bill is around HK$40 per person, which I think is a good deal. After breakfast, you can board the tram outside the Western market and enjoy the scenery on Hong Kong island for a mere HK$2 per person. I recommend Royal Garden to anyone who would like to stay at Tsim Sha Tsui East. Will return to this hotel on my next trip to Hong Kong.

| "I will always make this my first choice in any future trips to Hong Kong. The location is perfect.
The only thing I thought was slightly poor was your refusal to let us use the pool with out paying extra on our return visit. Since this was not the case the first time we booked, when we returned and were told this we felt a little miffed. In fact we didn't use the pool either time so really wondered was it worth creating that bad impression." |

| "This hotel is worth the price. The location is very good for visiting Hong Kong. The staff is very friendly.
The buffet dinner is marvelous. My wife and I travel a lot and this is definitely one the the best dinner buffet we had,
if not the best ever.

| "We were delighted with The Royal Garden. At the price we paid, we were not expecting much, so it was a wonderful surprise. The entire complex is lovely and clean. The concierge was extremely helpful and efficient, and the housekeeping staff, once they were used to us, took care of our needs without our having to ask for anything. We thought the hotel breakfast was too expensive for what we eat, but it was good. Our room was wonderful with a perfect view of Hong Kong." |
