Rooms are a little on the small side compared to say the Marco Polo Gateway. Free broadband access would be good or at least cheaper than the 120HK$ per night it cost this time. Could you not encourage the hotel to do a price for broadband for the entire week as well as daily?
The Cafe in the Park was excellent and much improved since my stay at the hotel in 2003.
The service staff cleaning the rooms were very efficient and polite.
The location for the China Ferry is obviously excellent and this is my main reason for using this hotel when on business.
The business centre and the Premier facilities for business meetings was very good.

| "Very goood location, service close to faultless, but I was disappointed by not being able to take a quick shower in the late afternoon, after a hot steaming day downtown, before going to the airport: the showers are located in te Fitness Centre, which is avalilable to men and women at different times. I was told I was just unlucky, men only on Sunday nights!" |

| "I know this hotel since many years and I always stayed at Royal Pacific during my business trips to Hong Kong. The location of Hotel is just perfect for further travels to China (Ferry boat station right downstairs), short ways to habour, Canton Rd & Nathan Rd as well as shopping mall.
This hotel used to be my favorite bcs service and facilities were always perfect.
But due the years the hotel became older and it needs to get some renovation, but this is what I missed the last 2 stays there. The formally nice and very clean and cultured rooms are still clean but very attride furnishing and floors which I do not expect in a 4-star hotel.
They already start to re-furnish the restaurants which is a good start, but rooms need to be re-furnished and renovate urgently.
Hope they will start soon, bcs I really like this hotel and it would be very sad if they will loose their good reputation bcs of it." |
