The location of the hotel was excellent as it is adjacent to a shopping complex and well surrounded by food stalls and low price shops of all kinds of local items. It is also very well serviced by taxis and train for mobility.
The room size is spacious and well equipped with items to make you feel at home.
I am totally satisfied as far as the hotel is concerned.
I discovered that the hotel has half day rates for late check out at 6pm. However, when I did the booking , I tried to confirm a half day rate on 25th December as my flight out happens to be in the evening of the same day, but was unable to do so.This I believe must be due to the business arrangements between Asiarooms and the Hotel. I therefore had to book a full day rate for which I only use until 4PM.
I suggest that Asiarooms look into this and provide the facility on your web.
Thank you.

| "Staying in the Club Rooms was excellent. It is a pity Asiarooms does not have a "non smoking room" option when booking as we were assigned a somking room and had to wait 2 hours for a non-smoking room to become available." |

| "I had enjoyed my stay at Royal Plaza Hotel. The security is great. However, would be better if the concierge people are more familiar with directions to get around in Hong Kong, as one of them had given me vague instructions when I asked about going to Ocean Park. Nonetheless, it is definitely recommended." |

| "Lovely hotel: staff friendly, room was big - 'though we were upgraded due to a lack of rooms (after turning down an offer to pay for a room upgrade, might I add!). Hotel very clean, and conveniently located for the MTR. It is a little bit further out - you can't take a stroll to the harbour areas, but that is why it is more affordable, and the MTR is so regular that this is not really a problem.
Would definitely recommend if you are on a budget." |

| "The Royal Plaza Hotel exceeded our expectations. From the welcome at the door to the rception staff and the house maids, everyone was so friendly. The location is perfect, close to the best markets, next door to a brilliant shopping complex with good coffee & so close to the MTR station for a convenient & inexpensive trip to any where in Hong Kong. There are so many great places to eat, all within easy stroll of the hotel & the free hotel shuttle bus was a great service for those just beginning to get thier bearings. The room was lovely, so spacious & great views over the city, especially at night. We loved the pool & the lounge with "happy hour" entertainment, a great place to chill out after all the excitment of the city! We can' wait for the oppotunity to return to Hong Kong & The Royal Plaza is the ultimate place to stay to enjoy everything K has to offer." |
