| "Covenient central location - a 15 min walk to the Star Ferry, a 5 min walk to nearest MTR (Jordan)and a 10 min walk to the Temple St night markets.
Small room and bathroom but very clean. Only two non smoking (5 & 8) floors in the hotel. Lobby very small, smoky and usually overcrowded. Definitely avoid the hotel restaurant.
Access to the fire stairs on our floor was blocked by a laundry trolley and multiple rubbish bags for the duration of our 6 night stay. We checked the floors above and below and access to the fire stairs was also obstructed in some way (the landings appeared to be used for storage purposes). We reported this as being unsatisfactory however nothing was done to rectify the situation. Our room windows were riveted shut so there was no alternative means of escape in the event of an emergency." |

| "Stayed at this hotel from Mar 6-9, 2008. We are very much satisfied with our stay here. I booked for two twin rooms and we were place on the 8th floor. The room is neither big nor small, just enough for an urban city like HK. There is a cabinet where we could place our things and safe inside. Theres also a 21" TV and a mini bar plus the usual telephone. I have to commend the toilet and bath. It is big enough, clean and modern looking. We were really satisfied with that. The staff is gracious especially the cleaning lady. The front desk staff are efficient. We were able to check in and out fast. They even allowed us to have early check in. I think the credit goes to Asiarooms.com for that. However, front desk staff should be trained to smile often and be hospitable. Though the male staff was funny and accommodating, the female staff hardly smiled. Good thing my charms worked on her! Lastly, location is awesome! Just above the MTR Jordan Station, it is so easy to roam around HK especially for my parents who are over 60 years old. Overall, I would surely booked again in this hotel the next time we visit HK! Highly recommended place to stay in HK." |

| "Location, location, location!! The Sahmrock was a great place to stay - we had an overnight before departing for Vancouver and the service from Kowloon Station to the free shuttle bus service which dropped us off in Austin Road made the journey so quick!!
The service from Reception was friendly but efficient.
Facilities were very clean though the room is small compared to western standards.
Will definitely be recommending booking this hotel again through Asia Rooms. Com to all our friends and family.
Thanks for a great stay - too short so we will be back again soon!!!" |

| "Location is what drew me to the Shamrock, just above Jordon Station MTR, with easy transit to airport, New Territories, and HK Island. Despite request for non-smoking, we were given an average quality smoking room on the second floor the first night, but promptly moved to a refurbished non-smoking on the eighth floor the next morning, very lucky! Please note there is no pool or gym, contrary to some advertisement. The staff were friendly and efficient, I would definitely enjoy another stay at the Shamrock." |

| "As we arrived in the Shamrock, we received our booked room but it was so small. The porter called the reception and we received a free upgrade for our next 4 nights. This luxury room was big for Hongkong seizes.
Thank you very much.

| "We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in September. The hotel is good value for money, and really if you require nothing more than somewhere to sleep at night it is ideal. We spent little time in the room because there is so much to see and do in Hong Kong. When we got back to the room after a busy days sightseeing and shopping we found it very comfortable and clean. It is perfectly situated if you want to experience the real Hong Kong and right next to excellent transport links. Good choice all round. " |
