Would I stay at this location
again:

Probably not
This is the least expensive hotel I could find in the center of Kowloon, and as such is taking advantage of its location without really giving much in return. It is clean, but that's it. If I knew what I know now, I would have spent $20-30 more per day to stay in the Penninsula or some other high rise with a water view. Booking on the internet is definately the way to go for a big city like Hong Kong, but until you arrive, it is really sort of hard to tell what you will do and where you'd rather be. I was in town for 5 days, and 2-3 days would have suited me fine. Don't even go there unless you want to live in a shopping mall 24/7.

"Covenient central location - a 15 min walk to the Star Ferry, a 5 min walk to nearest MTR (Jordan)and a 10 min walk to the Temple St night markets. Small room and bathroom but very clean. Only two non smoking (5 & 8) floors in the hotel. Lobby very small, smoky and usually overcrowded. Definitely avoid the hotel restaurant. Access to the fire stairs on our floor was blocked by a laundry trolley and multiple rubbish bags for the duration of our 6 night stay. We checked the floors above and below and access to the fire stairs was also obstructed in some way (the landings appeared to be used for storage purposes). We reported this as being unsatisfactory however nothing was done to rectify the situation. Our room windows were riveted shut so there was no alternative means of escape in the event of an emergency."
