I was told there were no record on my reservation for a room on October 10 to 14, but has a room available from 26th to 30th of October, since I pay asiaroom full amount on that date I wanted, and now told I have no room from October 10th to 14th! Later I told my friend about thehotel ignore to offer me a room,my friend talk to the front desk of Santford Hillview Hotel, said a connfirmation number been offered and payment pay in full, how can a hotel told the tourist there are no room available? Finally the hotel said sorry we made a mistake, and I was given a room on the dates that I stayed in HK.I hope asiaroom may find out if that is the case Santford Hillview treats their customers.I think I iwll never staying in that hotel when I visited HK again in the near future.

| "My family and I were very pleased with the stay but a bit tiring for my parent to challenge the slope but good form of exercise for the rest. We have booked 3 rooms and the size of rooms are similar to those in Genting Highland (ie Asian size). Bathroom is slightly cramped. Bed is too small if shared with child below 12. Very quiet and clean but slightly far from the MTR compared to the hostels at Mirador Mansion along the main road. Prices vary depend on the period of stay so i would say we got a relative good deal (S$140 per room)for our period of stay. Shop along Granville Rd and Granville Circuit (rise building) between 3pm to 11pm as most shops are open by then. Should be able to find some good stuff at great value. " |

| "I am an American who has stayed in youth hostels, Chungking Mansion death-traps, the Miramar Hotel (several times), and now Stanford Hillview. Of all of them, I liked SH the best. Admittedly, the front desk staff could be more professionally helpful but the location (very quiet and green, near a pair of quiet pubs and the fraternity insanity of Knutsford Terrace), the basic layout of the hotel (the hill is no big deal--I'm 53 years old and had no difficulty), and the appearance of the hotel and rooms made it great. The basic business services including free WiFi are there. What more do you need? I intended to stay for 2 days but remained for 4. I do note however that there are no freebies (shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste) so bring your own." |

| "The hotel is located on a very very steep hill. It was challenge lugging our luggage uphill. However, we found a much easier route the next day cutting through a shopping mall and eateries. When you are there just take lift to basement come out and turn right, go straight through all the food establishment. You can go home the same way every day ;-)
Location is really good and convenient with plenty of eatery and shopping nearby.
Hotel has shuttle buses for airport transfer and going to the Guangzhou station.
Happy holidays!

| "Our 3 night stay is very good! The hotel is clean and accessible to shopping centers at Kowloon. The staff are very warm and accommodating. They served a nice selection of food for their breakfast buffet and the food taste good. Good value for our money! We will definitely stay again and recommend it to our friends. " |
