WE would recommend the YMCA Salisbury without reservation. It's a combination of value, location, high service attitudes. Our two previous visits to Hong Kong were brief stays at mainstream branded hotels. Value extends to the meals served at Mall Cafe and Salisbury Dining Room. Even the hair salon's services added to enjoyment of hotel. Only two elements may distract, the rooms carpeting are light colored, showing stains easily and the secondary staff, not the major public contact staff are not fully English speaking.

| "I picked YMCA Salisbury after reading the other great reviews and the location. Location is right close to TST station. Hong Kong has a great subway/train system. Thats all we used to get around the city. Once we got off the plane, simply buy an airport express pass for 300hkd. This will give you a round trip transportation from the airport to the hotel and unlimited use of their MTR train system. Also add about 100HKD to the airport pass and you can use the bus and ferry systems as well. The added amount on the airport express ticket can be used for the tram to the "Peak" as well. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were large as well. We also had a complimentary upgrade to a harbor view room. Thanx Asia rooms for your assistance. " |
