Great value at a great price. We requested a harbour view room on a high floor and thats exactly what we got. A bowl of fruit was even in the room for us upon arrival. It was as good as staying at the Peninsula next door at a fraction of the price. The location was ideal as it is right on the harbour in Kowloon and steps away from the Star Ferry and all the shopping you wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful but as we speak only English a little hard to communicate with at times depending on who you talk to. The only minor complaint, and it is certainly minor, is that the carpet had a number of stains on it---probably nearly ready to replace. We will definitely stay at the Ymca Salisbury in the future and have no hesitation in recommending it.

| "I picked YMCA Salisbury after reading the other great reviews and the location. Location is right close to TST station. Hong Kong has a great subway/train system. Thats all we used to get around the city. Once we got off the plane, simply buy an airport express pass for 300hkd. This will give you a round trip transportation from the airport to the hotel and unlimited use of their MTR train system. Also add about 100HKD to the airport pass and you can use the bus and ferry systems as well. The added amount on the airport express ticket can be used for the tram to the "Peak" as well. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were large as well. We also had a complimentary upgrade to a harbor view room. Thanx Asia rooms for your assistance. " |
