I booked the YMCA Salisbury purely through on line reviews, and it certainly lived up to its reputation.
The room was a good size, the bathroom very clean, with little extras that made it a bit special - complimentary newspapers delivered to your door in the morning, beds being turned down in the evening....
The only improvement I can think of is a luggage trolley or porter service for taking your cases / backpacks up to your room on arrival /departure. However, saying that, it would certainly not stop me from staying at the hotel again. I would certainly recommend staying here.

| "I picked YMCA Salisbury after reading the other great reviews and the location. Location is right close to TST station. Hong Kong has a great subway/train system. Thats all we used to get around the city. Once we got off the plane, simply buy an airport express pass for 300hkd. This will give you a round trip transportation from the airport to the hotel and unlimited use of their MTR train system. Also add about 100HKD to the airport pass and you can use the bus and ferry systems as well. The added amount on the airport express ticket can be used for the tram to the "Peak" as well. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were large as well. We also had a complimentary upgrade to a harbor view room. Thanx Asia rooms for your assistance. " |
