The location of the hotel is outstanding for pepole who are interesting in either Hong Kong island or Kowloon area. You can go almost everywhere without taking a taxi if you wish.
Hotel has good mannered staff and treats visitors very comfortable, however you may feel something different if you have ever stayed other hotels in Hong Kong. I believe you should not expect things as same as the other. If your main purpose of visiting to Hong Kong is sightseeing, this hotel gives you an enough function to you as well as brilliant sight at sunset, night and midnight. But if you want to enjoy a distinguished atmosphere or a relaxation by staying a hotel, you should chose the hotel located just next to the YMCA Salisbury paying double or triple for it. I think people needs a mule when he or she is in a hotel room. Maybe, they have one if I asked for it.

| "I picked YMCA Salisbury after reading the other great reviews and the location. Location is right close to TST station. Hong Kong has a great subway/train system. Thats all we used to get around the city. Once we got off the plane, simply buy an airport express pass for 300hkd. This will give you a round trip transportation from the airport to the hotel and unlimited use of their MTR train system. Also add about 100HKD to the airport pass and you can use the bus and ferry systems as well. The added amount on the airport express ticket can be used for the tram to the "Peak" as well. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were large as well. We also had a complimentary upgrade to a harbor view room. Thanx Asia rooms for your assistance. " |
