Very good location with very average rooms. They need an update and upgrade in quality, but they suffice and serve their purpose.
The food in the hotel is average at best and overpriced. If you get a good enough price and aren't in the room to much, it might be worth staying there.

we stayed 1 week and we enjoyed our stay but we found the service too poor in the restaurant and around the swimming pool: understaffed. At the evening, for the dinner, there was not variation and the menu is limited

I was a little nervous as we had no idea what to expect, but I must say the Oasis was everything we had hoped it would be. The staff were very friendly, the roos were clean on arrival and the facilities were as described in the hotel web site. Superb value for money. Watch out for the mini-bar prices though! They are exorbitant. A bottle of water (small) was double the price of those supermarket. Overall it was excellent and I would recommend it to all.

Staff are all friendly and helpful and the Oasis Resort hotel location is just within walking distant to dining and shopping. Room is clean and tidy but everytime we need to ask for additional towels after room make up (we booked triple room but everytime only two towel sets are made available). My kid loves the sandy pool with lots of fun. Drinking water machine located at the ground floor is a great idea for Cairns traveller to fill up their bottles before the start of day time activities, especially the strong sunshine in summertime that drys you up quick.

Oasis Resort by Accor - Absolute perfect location
My wife and I stayed at this resort for 8 nights between August 23 -31 spose to be the dry season but would you believe it chucked it down with rain every single day! Well at least the archietects who designed the city centre made it rain proof to a certain degree, overhanging eaves of the buildings so you dont get wet when your walking around exploring the city.
Oasis Accor resort was very welcoming from the day we arrived to the day we left. The hotel room was above the standard you should expect and the facilities, swimming pool were terrific. The only bad comment I would make is that the housekeeping / chamber maid sevice was pretty slack not enough towels left in the room, als the room was made up very late on in the day..
