We only checked in around 9pm because we arrived late in Gold Coast. Upon check in, there was some misunderstanding. We have indicated that we required non smoking rooms and same floors as we have 3 rooms but the hotel staff said that it was not indicated to them. So we have to wait for another 15 mins for them to relocate the rooms and we only got 2 rooms that were on the same floor.
The hotel entrance and lobby are undergoing renovation. So it's slightly messy and noisy but this doesn't affect our stay coz we were always out very early and we returned late at night.
The hotel is easy accessible (within 5 to 10 mins walk) to supermarket, shopping and the beach. The hotel provides coin operated washer and dryer which was excellent for our laundry.
Overall, we are very happy with our stay and we highly recommend to those who are travelling with families and/or friends.

Room is very clean. The only set back is that there is a surcharge if you settle your bills by credit card. The buffet breakfast is excellent. There are many choices from asian to western breakfast.

We had a one bedroom suite which...
We had a one bedroom suite which was very comfortable and extraordinarily big. We were travelling with two children and as usual, bookings for four persons somehow doesn't get through from Asia Rooms to the hotel. However, the hotel immediately upgraded us to the large one bedroom suite and within a few minutes had brought up two extra fold away beds that both easily fitted into the bedroom - the room was that big. The bathroom had a spa and was also very big and the living room was enormous. The kitchenette was modest but we had no use for this in any case. The room we stayed in had a nice balcony and view of the beach. One drawback, the AUD 8.00 per day parking fee was annoying and seemed petty to me. The staff were genuinely helpful and cheerful - noticeably better than most hotels.

Nice hotel,clean and just a short walk to the heart of surfers.Staff was nice and they allow us to check in early morning.The only thing is the hotel should offer b/fast.

I am most impressed with the service....
I am most impressed with the service. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue I have is the bathroom is rather grubby and seriously in need of renovation. The non-ocean-facing view is equally beautiful. The pool is tiny but the beach is within walking distance. The basement parking is free which is great. Well worth the money and will go back again.

The front desk staff and concierge are...
The front desk staff and concierge are warm & very helpful. We managed to stay in a room with a king size bed although that could not be guaranteed at time of booking. We did not eat at any of the hotel restaurants though as there are more choices just 5-10min walk from the hotel. The location is excellent and the beach is just across the street. The view from the ocean facing room is superb! We loved sitting at the balcony soaking up the view. Enjoyed our stay!

A hotel which has a japanese feel to it. It was clean and good service. people were very cordial and friendly.Its great for a business cum pleasure hotel. Pool is small. Healthclub is not that great. Veyr close to the beach and main surfers paradise area. Great restaurants. Overall a good exp.
