I think it shouldn't be a 4-star...
I think it shouldn't be a 4-star hotel at all ! It should be degraded to a Mercure 3-stars hotel. In this rate (184 USD) you can find five-star hotels with more facilities and sevices. Simple service as ADSL internet connection is not available (they have the pay-card wireless instead). The reception staff is not so helpful, I remember that they didn't delp us to re-confirm our tickets. The Laundry service is too bad .. they burned my friend's clothes and gave him them too late (half an hour after check out) ! The swimming pool was shut down ! This hotel hasn't got any good restaurant, it should be reconstructes in order to say that this hotel is a four-star hotel. Thanks

This hotel is in a tired state...
This hotel is in a tired state and needs a general upgrade. Having paid extra money for a room with a spa we were extremely disappointed to be put on level 1 with restricted views of the swn River. I am a frequent business traveller and would not recommend this hotel again when staying in Perth.

Pretty basic and does not really live...
Pretty basic and does not really live up to the levels expected of a 4* hotel. They didn't even have an extra adaptor plug and data cable which I needed to borrow to plug my computer into the mains and the data port. I have had no such problems with other hotels that I have been using throughout the world. Plus, it isn't that conveniently located, really.
